About us
In 1960 a group of men saw the need to establish a Bible camp in the Kenosee Lake area. 60 years later, Kenosee Lake Bible Camp has grown to host camps for over 600 children and youth each summer. Kenosee Lake Bible Camp is owned and operated by One Hope Canada. As a One Hope Canada camp, it is our desire to first and foremost present the gospel of Jesus Christ as written in the Bible. All of our full-time and summer missionaries are devoted followers of Christ who make sharing the saving knowledge of Jesus our first priority.
Along with teaching important spiritual truths, it is also our desire to teach campers important life-skills, such as resolving conflict and getting along with others. Furthermore, we are committed to providing a safe environment. While physical safety is an obvious concern, we are also dedicated to providing campers with an atmosphere that is free from bullying (both physical and verbal). For more information about our commitment to safety, check out www.insafehands.ca

And, of course, what would camp be if there wasn’t a ton of fun involved? It is our desire to make a camper's week at KLBC their favorite week of the summer! We have many skills campers can take part in (tubing, wakeboarding, archery, paintball, and much more). We also have chapel, Bible memorization, camp wide games, and we are treated to some fine eating from our cooks!
Vision statement
Show God's love, Share God's truth, Build God's family.
This statement expresses the vision of Kenosee Lake Bible Camp. It’s the reason we exist. We desire to demonstrate God’s love to each person who interacts with us, to share God’s truth as revealed through the Bible, and build God’s family through evangelism, discipleship, and serving together as the body of Christ.
Mission statement
KLBC's vibrant year round ministry creates an environment for growth through exposure to God's truth, meaningful relationships, and new experiences.
In addition to our year-round missionaries, we hire an administrative assistant for spring and summer, two program directors, and about 40 cabin leaders for the summer. All missionaries are devoted followers of Christ who make sharing the saving knowledge of Jesus their first priority. If you'd like to join our summer missionary team, click here.
THE KLBC Team
Brad and Allison Weber - Executive Directors
Brad and Allison came to KLBC in 2011. The two met on a discipleship training program to Guatemala. After the program, Brad earned a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry from Briercrest College while Allison graduated from Red Deer College. For both Brad and Allison camp has played a large part in growing their faith right from their days of attending camp as kids. Since starting at KLBC Brad and Allison have had 4 boys: Ethan, Ryan, Joel, and Warren. Their active family enjoys board games, hiking, sports, and of course life at KLBC.
Clay and Tracey Wiens - Ministry Director
Clay joined the team at KLBC in 2016. He graduated from Millar College of the Bible in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Ministries. As Ministry Director, he's responsible for summer missionary hiring and discipleship, camper follow-up, and whatever else Brad can't find time for. He married Tracey in 2022. With her background in teaching, children's ministry, and administration she brings a host of skills to KLBC. Together they enjoy board games, being active, drinking tea/coffee, and building community with those around them.
